From visitors browsing the directory
When you submit an inquiry form to contact a professional, we collect your name, email address, and the message you wrote. We do not require you to create an account to submit an inquiry.
From professionals creating listings
When a professional registers, we collect their name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash via Supabase Auth). Profile information — business name, bio, credentials, service area, contact details, and profile photo — is collected as part of the listing creation process and displayed publicly on the directory.
Newsletter subscribers
If you opt in to our newsletter, we collect your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Billing information
If a professional purchases a paid listing tier, payment is processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details on our servers. We receive limited billing confirmation data (name, billing address, last four digits of card) from Stripe for account records.
Usage and analytics data
We may collect standard website analytics data — pages visited, referral source, browser type, approximate location (country/region), and time on site. This may be collected via cookies set by Google Analytics or similar services. We also use Sentry for error monitoring, which may capture technical details about your browser session when an error occurs.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Authentication
A session cookie keeps you logged in to your account. This cookie is necessary for the site to function and is deleted when you log out or close your browser session.
